Little Falls

Thanks to my in-laws for installing these little falls in their back yard just for me to play with some long exposures... *wink, wink* Anyway, I took these pictures at dusk and as the sun fell, my exposures kept getting longer and longer. The first picture with all three of the little falls was 5 seconds long, and the close-up of the biggest of the falls was 10 seconds long. On a side note, I suffered 13 mosquito bites for these pictures...

My Silly Baby

Buddies

My neighbor friend Dawn and I took our boys to the park today. Dominic slowed down for just a moment to hang out with Owen on the grass. It looks like Dominic is teaching Owen a secret handshake. How cool to have a little buddy right next door. Soon Owen will be chasing after him!

Yawns: Then and Now

Everyone knows kids change fast. I revel in finding the similarities that stick with them - the expressions, gestures, etc. I have always adored baby yawns. I just love them. Here is one of Owen at 13 days of age and another at 6 1/2 months, taken just days ago.

Baby Buns and Wooden Spoons

I wanted to get some cute nakie pics of Owen, but also didn't want to clean up messes all over the house. I stuck him on some white fleece in our kitchen and to keep him relatively still, I gave him a wooden spoon to play with. Well, then he was more interested in the spoon than Mommy and I didn't get many shots of him looking at the camera. Oh well, these are neat in that it documents this stage of his life where a wooden spoon can hold his interest for a long period of time. I'll be missing this stage soon enough... when nothing holds his interest for more than 15 seconds. :)

Baby Jack is Getting BIG!

Owen and I visited our good friends Molly and Jack yesterday. Of course I took pictures! Unfortunately, I couldn't get a good one of Owen and Jack together because Owen cannot be trusted with babies... of any age. He likes to taste and touch them. Yum. Molly attempted to keep him under control, but it was a lost cause. I think we'll have to wait until Owen is sleeping next time... Or wait until Jack is big enough to fight Owen off. On to the fun pics. Great to see you guys, as always!
